With my Harry portrait at a standstill for the time being, and my mind being far from the 'sculpting-zone', I've begun pushing my pencil into an equine study I had been meaning to do for quite some time. I photographed a truly gorgeous Belgian Draft horse at Dorset Steam Fair last summer(you can see them here), and had been meaning ever since to draw their portrait. I've tried to place two images into the composition, as you generally see paintings and drawings of horses, and I think the placement works. It's still got a loooong way to go, but thankfully I have a sleepy drawing companion to keep me company.
